Customers of Active Broadband Networks have collected more than 1 trillion IPDR records from Cable Modem Termination Systems using the Active Resource Manager.
“Collecting a trillion records is an amazing achievement for the Active Broadband Networks team and our customers,” said Adam Dunstan, president of Active Broadband Networks. “This achievement clearly shows the scalability and maturity of our platform.”
Active Broadband Networks is also announcing the availability of support for DOCSIS 3.0 and Active Resource Manager Release 4.0. This new release builds upon the existing platform capabilities, doubling the number of subscribers supported by a single collector and effectively halving the hardware costs of deploying the platform while improving IPDR processing, storage and analysis capabilities, according to the company.
The Active Resource Manager is available in three editions. The Standard Edition provides IPDR capabilities using a single server. The Enhanced Edition consists of a pair of collection systems that operate as a redundant cluster. The SystemWide Edition is a network of collector systems that interoperate for redundancy and scalability supporting up 100M subscriber devices.
