The technology includes VoIP pre- and post-deployment tools as well as tools for network inventory, mapping and performance monitoring.
The pinging tool automatically notifies IT managers 24/7 when key network devices stop working. The alarm sound patterns provide an immediate warning to a network manager, eliminating the need to watch a pinger console or read alarm reports.
By adding the network mapping tool autoMap, pinging results are visualized graphically live on a network map using Microsoft Office Visio. Users are just seconds away from pinging all the important network nodes such as routers and servers that autoMap has automatically detected. Details of the ping target may be entered manually or automatically imported.
