NAB ― Microsoft has a big presence at NAB in Las Vegas this week, focusing on showcasing its Mediaroom for IPTV.
Microsoft says Mediaroom drives down costs and improves flexibility and content management. The company says, with its partners, it’s helping media companies modernize their existing IT systems and redesign the user experience across multiple screens.
Mediaroom is now the world’s most deployed IPTV platform. The number of subscribers is expected to hit 3 million next month. The company’s subs list has more than doubled in the past year.
