Deutsche Telekom (DT) was hit hard in the first quarter by poor performance from subsidiary T-Mobile UK.
The German telecom carrier said this week it had to write down its T-Mobile UK investment by $2.4 billion.
T-Mobile USA and Deutsche Telekom’s Poland division also suffered from the global economic recession.
