Nice, France ― Mycom today announced at Management World the launch of Converged NIMS-PrOptima, the latest version of its flagship OSS Service Assurance software platform.

With this launch, Mycom now offers a totally unified end-to-end NGOSS Service Assurance solution that addresses the requirements of convergent mobile-fixed operators as well as IP access and Internet service providers.

The launch of this new Mycom solution addresses all the needs of today’s converged operators while covering all IP & Ethernet based aggregation and IP Multimedia System domains, enabling bridging the gap between the traditional management silos, according to the company.

Meantime, Mycom announced that it has been selected by Maroc Telecom, a Morocco telecoms operator, to provide NIMS-PrOptimaTM for its fixed telephony network.

The system being deployed in Morocco will offer a flexible platform designed to integrate with the growing complexity of the network while addressing the constant evolution of network architectures, and the requirements of Maroc Telecom both now and in the future.

With a totally scalable architecture, Mycom says there are no limitations in volumes or types of data collected by the system. Maroc Telecom can incrementally implement new interfaces with NIMS-PrOptimaTM as it introduces new services and technologies, enabling the telco to maintain solid network performance while delivering OPEX savings.
