Subex announced a pair of partnerships this week – with Dataupia and Vertica – to offer service providers advanced revenue maximization solutions with operations intelligence capabilities. The announcements coincide with the company’s presence at Management World in Nice, France.
Subex’s Revenue Maximization portfolio covers both the revenue and cost streams identifying sources of revenue leakages and avoidable costs. Functions include Revenue Assurance, Cost Management, Fraud Management, Credit Risk Management, Interparty Management, Route Optimization, and Network Asset Assurance.
The data warehouse infrastructures provided by Dataupia and Vertica enable efficient management of large quantities of various usage related data, such as XDRs, signalling traffic, purchase transactions, contact events, and more. The combined solution allows service providers to analyze more granular and timely data at a faster rate while running on a fraction of the hardware they would normally have used, according to Subex.
In another announcement, Subex said it has launched Rocware 2.0, a key component of its pioneering Revenue Operations Center (ROC), aimed at helping CSPs better their customers’ experiences while also enhancing their operational efficiency and profitability.
Rocware 2.0 is a product based on the concepts and methods of Business Intelligence with a primary focus on operational and tactical decision making. Its goal is Operational Assurance (processes working the way they are intended to work) and analytics (based on the accurate operational data from those processes). It leverages strengths such as Subex’s OSS/BSS expertise, delivery and cost flexibility and global market understanding. It offers Operational Assurance and Business Analytics at the executive or corporate levels, business unit levels as well as operational levels across the service provider’s organization.
