Allot Communications has announced four new operator wins throughout North and South America. The deals, which took place during the first quarter of 2009, include two major mobile operators and a major North American carrier.

Allot is a provider of IP service optimization and revenue generation solutions based on deep-packet inspection.

Solutions implemented in the Americas include the Allot Service Gateway, the ServiceProtector – which Allot says ensures broadband service continuity, DDoS protection and guards network integrity – and the Subscriber Management Platform (SMP). The Allot SMP introduces a new consumer-friendly approach to dealing with network congestion by ensuring that each subscriber gets the best quality of experience (QoE), on a fair share basis, irrespective of network conditions, according to the company.

Allot America's headquarters has relocated to Boston. The new location includes technologically advanced product demonstration, training and laboratory facilities. The Allot Americas headquarters is host to regional sales, marketing, operations and technical support staff.
