Cisco has announced its Video Assurance Management Solution (VAMS), an integrated set of test and measurement tools. Test center EANTC calls it an easy-to use system that can highlight video service delivery problems in an accurate manner.
Cisco is marketing VAMS as providing centralized, real-time monitoring of broadcast video transport networks and IP multicast streams. The company says it easily can meet the needs of its IP video service provider customers.
