Indian mobile operator Aircel says it has successfully implemented the Telcordia Real-Time Charging solution to power its Pan-India network rollout and support the introduction of interactive, real-time services and tariff plans.
Aircel awarded Telcordia a five-year, multimillion dollar contract for Real-Time Charging, calling it a flexible charging and policy control solution for mobile prepaid subscribers.
The solution is part of the Telcordia Service Delivery Suite, which offers not only real-time charging, but policy control and rapid service creation.
