Mu Dynamics has announced what it calls a significant expansion to its Mu Test Suite solution, including many new capabilities.
Mu says the solution delivers a 10-fold productivity improvement over traditional testing solutions. It helps customers deliver higher quality IP services faster and cheaper across the Network Infrastructure, Wired & Mobile services, Cloud Computing services, Government services, and Smart Grid ecosystems.
IP services within Mu’s customer ecosystems are all mission critical, but the underlying complexity of these environments combined with the unique, custom, and rapidly evolving nature of each specific service makes testing a huge challenge. Prior to deploying Mu’s solution, customers uniformly lacked an effective testing solution resulted in widespread delays in service releases, budget overruns, support backlogs and services deployed of subpar quality, according to the company.
Mu counts the largest service providers and vendors in North America and worldwide, among its growing customer base. They include: Alcatel/Genesys, BT, Cox Communications, F5 Networks, Honeywell - Process Control, Juniper Networks, Motorola, Redback/Ericsson, Starent Networks, and Veraz Networks. Other customers include leading service providers, Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Government agencies, and “smart grid” providers.
