EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. has released a new, end-to-end solution for IP video service assurance.
The BrixVision solution provides a number of unique features that EXFO says make it easy for telcos, MSOs and broadcast video providers to ensure that their subscribers get the quality of experience they demand. It’s an end-to-end solution that supports service assurance from installation to monitoring and ongoing troubleshooting. The result is a solution that extends through the “last mile” to the customer premises without requiring expensive truck rolls.
BrixVision goes beyond simple live monitoring of the video network. Integrating the triple-play capabilities of BrixWorx, this solution provides an open service-assurance environment built on a common platform for voice, video and data networks. Even more importantly, BrixVision allows providers to consolidate their multiservice monitoring investments on a single platform in order to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational expenditures.
The EXFO solution, which is on display at TelcoTV in Orlando this week, also enables providers to consolidate all their monitoring systems into a single, cost-effective, multiservice assurance platform.
