Scorecard Systems Inc. has been selected by Network Norway to provide business intelligence and commission calculation capability for its mobile network of 400,000 users.
The resultant analysis capabilities will provide Network Norway a complete picture of subscriber and value added service activity and revenue. It also will streamline the company’s incentive compensation process, giving Network Norway direct control over the design, deployment and implementation of commission plans for each of its points of sale.
“Scorecard’s solution will provide one, comprehensive view of all customer and service activity for our business, which we view as a critical advantage in our competitive marketplace,” said Rolf Paulsen, product manager at Network Norway. He said it would provide significantly more insight into customer, product and bundle performance. It also will bring significant savings on the company’s subscriber acquisition cost.
Simon Marwood, CEO of Scorecard CEO, said many carriers struggle with manual commission payment processes that require whole teams of analysts, or the deployment of massively expensive compensation systems. “Subscriber reporting has been a pain point in the industry for a long time,” he said, “and Network Norway will avoid the problems and intricacies of trying to build a long-term solution in-house.”
The solution will provide Network Norway’s marketing team with the ability to quickly monitor take and churn rates for new services and bundles, and reducing commission overpayments due to rotational churn and other issues.
Scorecard Systems’ Subscriber Analysis Application, which has been deployed at dozens of service providers worldwide, and which measures results for over 100 million subscribers, can be deployed within an Enterprise Data Warehouse or as a standalone analysis tool, allowing service providers to measure customer activity using a table-based, user-configurable business rules approach that leverages subscriber industry standards customized for an organization’s needs.
