Fujitsu announced a regional partnership with Tribold Limited to resell, distribute, promote and market Tribold’s Enterprise Product Management (EPM) solution. Fujitsu will use other companies under its umbrella to extend this partnership to other regions, including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
Tribold EPM is a TM Forum-certified solution compliant with the forum’s Shared Information Data model (SID). It provides communications service providers with product and service data management and centralized product catalog solutions, product and service integration, lifecycle management, business intelligence and channel management.
EPM also is used to create certified reference definitions for a product or service, reducing the amount of incomplete, out-of-date or conflicting data in the order management process. It also can help eliminate the need to build products from scratch each time a change is made. EPM endeavours to create and present a single point of truth to be used during the ordering process so that product definitions are current and consistent. It does the same for pricing and creates workflows that are able to be modified.
David Bowden, vice president of Strategic Initiatives for Fujitsu, said the Tribold EPM represents a new paradigm for CSPs as they move into an increasingly competitive environment and need to quickly develop and launch new products. Fujitsu sees the Tribold suite of solutions as a critical element required in this new world.
Tribold anticipates the opportunity to grow its business is Southeast Asia.
