Convergys Renews Cable Contracts for Smart BSS

Convergys Corp. says its continued strong investment in cable solutions and Smart BSS Solutions portfolio has helped generate two contract renewals.

The first client, a leading provider of digital cable TV, phone, and high-speed Internet services to residential and small business customers, signed for the continued license, maintenance, and support of its Convergys Smart BSS solution. The client also has a license to use Convergys Customer Service Manager Smart App, a Web-based front-end that provides a consolidated view of the customer and a streamlined, intuitive workflow for next generation subscriber, order, and customer management.

The second client, a top 25 communications provider offering digital cable, On Demand, High Definition (HDTV), Digital Video Recording (DVR), and High Speed Internet access, also renewed its longstanding license for its Convergys Smart BSS Solution. In addition to providing what Convergys calls accurate and timely billing and support to its customers, this client will upgrade its Web self-care platform for electronic bill presentment and payment and further grow its popular digital phone service.
