Packet One Networks of Malaysia has signed a deal with Pos Malaysia Berhad to enable bill payments for P1 W1MAX postpaid subscribers, new P1 W1MAX postpaid account registration and purchase of top-up credits for P1 W1GGY Prepaid at almost 600 Pos Malaysia outlets around Peninsular Malaysia. It takes effect immediately.

For new registrations of P1 W1MAX postpaid packages, Pos Malaysia outlets now offer P1 W1MAX Home Lite, Plus and Pro, the Office Premium and Standard packages, as well as the P1 W1GGY packages. P1 W1GGY currently offers the highest capacity to the mobile broadband user. The packages are available at no contract with free device, priced at RM59, RM89 and RM129 for speeds up to 600kbps (8GB), 1.5Mbps (15GB) and 3Mbps (20GB) respectively.

In conjunction with the agreement signing, P1 also announced the availability of Malaysia's first WiMAX prepaid package, the P1 W1GGY Prepaid. The P1 W1GGY Prepaid starter pack is priced at RM199 and includes Malaysia's most advanced WiMAX USB modem with 4GB of data included.

P1 W1GGY Prepaid top-ups are currently available at RM20 for 500MB and RM50 for 2GB worth of data. Registration of W1GGY Prepaid can be done online at P1's Web site.

In addition to paying their P1 W1MAX bills, P1's W1GGY Prepaid customers can easily top-up their W1GGY Prepaid credit at Pos Malaysia outlets. To top-up W1GGY Prepaid, customers only need to walk into the nearest Pos Malaysia outlet, fill in the top-up form and get their prepaid receipt printed. P1 customers can also top-up at close to 11,000 e-Pay outlets, which includes most gas stations and selected P1 resellers.

As part of the collaboration, Pos Malaysia will also accept cash bill payments for P1 W1MAX postpaid customers. To make the monthly bill payment process a breeze, P1 subscribers only need to bring their P1 W1MAX bill to any Pos Malaysia outlet within Peninsular Malaysia. Pos Malaysia will process the payment and this will be reflected in P1's billing and payment system, under subscribers' self-care account on the next working day. Currently Pos Malaysia only accepts cash payments for all P1 W1MAX transactions.
