Billing & OSS World magazine and Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo have announced the finalists in the Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards 2010. The awards recognize excellence in service providers’ business from vendor-enabled or internal initiatives. The award categories were revamped for 2010 to recognize benefits over technology type and welcomed submissions from across the BSS/OSS spectrum.
Finalists in the six categories are:
- Best Cost Management Implementation – Comverse and Telcordia Technologies
- Best Service Enablement Implementation – Redknee and Tech Mahindra
- Best Customer Experience Improvement – MetraTech, Sterling Commerce and TELUS
- Best Business Process Automation – Alliance Telecom Solutions, RiverRock Systems and Verizon
- Best Network Management Implementation – Tektronix Communications and Telcordia Technologies
- B/OSS Innovator of the Year – ANDA Networks, MetraTech and Sprint
The Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards 2010 will be presented at ceremonies on Wednesday, June 9, at the Billing & OSS World 2010 Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C. Award winners and runners-up will be featured in an upcoming issue of Billing & OSS World magazine and on the Billing & OSS World Web site.
Nominations were open to participating exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees of the Billing & OSS World 2010 Conference & Expo, June 9-11, in Washington, D.C.
The Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards 2010 are being judged by an independent panel that includes Ari Banerjee, senior consultant for telecommunications research company Heavy Reading; Susan McNeice, global director for communications infrastructure and OSS/BSS software at Stratecast, a division of Frost & Sullivan; Elisabeth Rainge, program director of network and telecom software research for IDC; and members of the Billing & OSS World editorial team.
