Aricent has announced a new end-to-end Mobile Service Assurance focus in its OSS practice. The company says this new focus area was launched to enable global service providers to address rapidly growing challenges associated with optimizing network and service quality, an increasingly important component of a highly differentiated overall subscriber experience.

Network operators are looking to modernize their mobile assurance operations with new tools and solutions to maximize the quality of experience, reduce expense, and improve profits through improved subscriber retention. Aricent provides a unified, integrated approach for managing service quality and user experience based on events, service and network performance. The company drives industry best practices and leverages its experience across the entire telecom ecosystem and provides Service Assurance capabilities, from basic element and network monitoring to Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Quality Management. Aricent says its Service Assurance approach delivers continuous improvement in customer satisfaction levels and services delivery through enhanced QoE across networks, services, subscribers and devices. The company follows a five-phased approach that addresses key factors, including technology, objectives, competitive position, strategy and existing capabilities, essential for successful mobile operations, which enables the service providers to grow and be profitable. The Service Assurance solutions for CSPs are based on proven systems and processes deployed by CSPs worldwide, the company said.
