Lymeware Corp., based in Old Lyme, Conn., announced this week the general availability of its SECAB Viewer product, which allows for the generation of customized summary and detailed reports from raw Small Exchange Carrier Access Billing data.

The viewer is available on Solaris, Red Hat Linux and Windows (XP/Vista/7) systems that use the command-line utility to reformat SECAB billing records into usable, readable formats. The output formats it supports include: text, with several data options; comma-delimited format that can be imported into Microsoft Excel; Database; XML, with standard BDT field names; and HTML.

The SECAB Viewer product provides the ability to generate customized summary and detailed reports from the raw SECAB billing data. SECAB is the standard billing format used by the U.S. Telecommunications Industry.

The 15-year-old Lymeware Corp. provides secure messaging solutions, XML/EDI integration frameworks and consulting services for Fortune 1000 companies, CLECs and other service providers throughout the US.

SECAB is used by providers, or their vendors, who do not conform to the CABS Billing Output Specifications (BOS). ATIS has a Small Exchange Carrier Access Billing (SECAB) Subcommittee that maintains the SECAB guidelines document.
