Poland-based Comarch has signed an agreement with fring that allows the mobile VoIP and video provider to offer a billing cloud service to its customers.

The Comarch Billing Cloud helped create “fringOut," which lets “fringsters" call any landline or mobile in the world from their mobile phone at low prices, starting at 1 cent per minute. The companies say the project was completed quickly, with the billing service provided to multiple fring data centers around the globe.

The delivered solution covers the entire process of product preparation, allowing defining details of the services offered to customers, providing and reselling such services over available sales channels, activating, controlling and billing for such services, in addition to monitoring and reporting them.

"We know that real-time billing must be more open to operators, and we are going to meet this challenge," said Piotr Piatosa, VP of the Management Board and Head of the Telecommunications Business Unit, Comarch S.A.

The project also involved business partners such as G2S and PayPal, as providers of the payment services.
