Ontology Systems and Logica have formed a strategic relationship to provide Enterprise Data Alignment (EDA) solutions for communication service providers (CSPs) who want to search and align knowledge from the customer, service and network data distributed across their operational, business and infrastructure systems.
The companies say the partnership is driven by customer demand in Central and Eastern Europe and leverages Ontology’s technical innovation with Logica’s established capability within the region.
Data misalignment is a root cause of low customer profit, high customer cost and lack of agility for CSPs. Specifically, data misalignment results in unintentional revenue loss; customer churn through inaccurate customer and service management; and the unacceptably high risk of a failed system transformation or migration.
The Logica-Ontology partnership provides semantic search solutions based on Ontology 3, the semantic search product. The solutions delivered to CSPs provide a single correct and joined-up view of their critical business concepts including customers, services and network assets enabling a number of high-value use cases to be implemented using existing data, Ontology said.
