MANAGEMENT WORLD — TM Forum announced the winners of its Excellence Awards before a crowd of 3,500 communications and enterprise executives at its Management World event in Dublin Tuesday.
The 5th annual TM Forum Excellence Awards recognize gglobal leadership, innovation and excellence in implementing TM Forum’s flagship suite of standards, Frameworx. The winners were chosen from a record number of entries from leading communications service providers, suppliers and systems integrators.
Telstra Corp. won the Operational Excellence Award, given to the CSP demonstrating the most innovative and effective use of Frameworx to deliver tangible cost reduction, efficiency improvement and operational agility.
Nokia Siemens Networks takes home the Solution Excellence Award, honoring the supplier or system integrator demonstrating the most innovative and effective use of Frameworx to deliver tangible cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
TM Forum’s Business Innovation Award went to Taiwan’s Chungwha Telecom, recognized for demonstrating the most innovative and successful new service or business model.
Huawei nabbed the Industry Leadership Award for demonstrating leadership, dedication and commitment to the Forum’s collaboration activities, and the uptake of Forum standards and best practices.
