Guyana Telephone & Telegraph (GT&T), an incumbent telecommunications provider in Guyana, has selected solutions from Comverse in order to improve its business.
Comverse is providing its flagship converged BSS, Comverse(R) ONE(TM) Billing & Active Customer Management Solution with Comverse Mobile Internet, and Comverse HUB Voice & Messaging Value-Added Services.
“This deployment of solutions from Comverse will position us to provide a best-in-class communication experience, with agility to dramatically reduce time to market when launching new services and to grow – all while benefiting from tremendous operating cost reductions," said Yog Mahadeo, GT&T CEO, in a statement.
GT&T selected Comverse(R) ONE(TM) in order to benefit from a single product catalog and rating engine, uniting all postpaid and prepaid subscribers and all lines of business, including mobile, Internet and wireline, according to Comverse.
“Tight integration of Comverse ONE with Comverse(R) Mobile Internet Hub(TM) promotes mobile data traffic optimization and monetization," Comverse added in a press release. “Integration with Comverse HUB VAS solutions such as Next-Generation Voicemail, SMSC, MMS, and USSD … can advance maximization of voice and messaging assets and opportunities."
