OSS/BSS provider Subex appears to be firing on all cylinders as the world slowly emerges from recession.

The company on Wednesday reported its earnings, showing net consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,169.51 mln (US $26.5M) for the first quarter of fiscal year 2012, which ended June 30, 2011. Order intake for the company’s core business – RMS – grew 63 percent, from $14.1 million (US) this time last year to $23 million last quarter. Net profit was up a whopping 424 percent year over year, from Rs. 25.22 mln (US $572,000) to Rs. 132.27 mln (US $3M).

“The beginning of the financial year has been promising as we continue to witness increased traction of our industry-leading Revenue Operations Center (ROC) and Managed Services offering," said Subash Menon, founder chairman, managing director and CEO, Subex. “This is evident in the significant increase in our order intake in our core business, RMS, from US $23 mln in FY12 Q1 up from US $14.1 mln in FY11 Q1."
