Convergys Smart Revenue Solution Live for Wireline Subs in Germany

Telekom Deutschland's wireline subscribers have gone live on a state-of-the-art Convergys Smart Revenue Solution.

The relationship management company has been working with the telco on a major, multiphase BSS project to migrate Telekom Deutschland from its legacy billing system to the Convergys solution, which includes Rating and Billing Manager. Convergys also implemented more than 25 new features in Rating and Billing Manager for the carrier.

This implementation is phase two of the project. Phase one involved moving Telekom Deutschland's broadband subscribers to the platform.

“By taking the time to understand Telekom Deutschland’s culture and unique requirements, Convergys has delivered a system that will help Telekom Deutschland maintain its competitive edge now and in the future," said Eldar Kociak, VP of Global Development and Delivery, International, Convergys. 

T-Systems served as the system integrator for both phases of the project with Convergys providing on-site technical consultancy, product expertise, and management support.

Convergys says its Smart Revenue Solutions support convergent services and leverage real-time marketing innovation, helping to minimize risk, reduce operational costs, and generate revenue.

Telekom Deutschland is the German operating arm of Deutsche Telekom AG and has approximately 25 million fixed net subscribers.
