cVidya Networks has successfully completed TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation certification for revenue assurance, becoming the first supplier certified in the program.

TM Forum works with software suppliers to incorporate its standardized Business Metrics into products and solutions, allowing service providers to automatically upload metric data into the TM Forum Business Benchmark Database rather than collating and entering that data manually. By participating in the Business Metrics Automation Certification program, software suppliers can certify the ability of their product to interact securely with the TM Forum Business Benchmarking Database.

cVidya says a communications service provider using the company’s MoneyMap with TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation capabilities can automatically collect and upload revenue assurance metrics data for comparison with other CSPs, and incorporate the results from the TM Forum Business Benchmarking Database into their dashboards.

“TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation makes comparative data easily accessible to service providers by implementing standard metrics in supplier products and enabling service providers to automatically participate in our business benchmarking program through those products," said Tonia Graham, executive decision support program manager, TM Forum.

“Executives need to ensure that their strategic and operational activities and decisions are based on the most precise data available," said Gadi Solotorevsky, cVidya CTO and chairman of the TM Forum’s revenue assurance team. “The Business Metrics Automation programme enables CSPs to have a wealth of accurate information accessible within their revenue assurance products which means the revenue assurance team can make better decisions and be more successful in achieving their goals."

cVidya will demonstrate its certified MoneyMap at TM Forum’s Management World Americas 2011 in Orlando, Nov. 8-10.
