MANAGEMENT WORLD — Network-performance management solution provider SevOne is expanding into Australasia, Southeast Asia and Latin America, continuing what the company says is a significant period of growth and geographic expansion. SevOne has appointed Bill Haber to director of sales, strategic markets. Haber will lead the regions.

A big reason for the expansion?: demand for the company's products in these areas.

“Emerging markets are being driven by both subscriber growth and advanced mobile broadband data services. SevOne’s expansion in emerging markets will give the company greater diversification in their customer base and enable the company to continue their growth despite the risk of slower sales in North America and Europe," said Patrick Kelly, research director at Analysys Mason.

SevOne says its network performance-management solution provides the complete and immediate visibility that enables its customers to apply effective performance management best practices, to address key management challenges associated with new projects and initiatives including: effective management and optimization of network capacity while reducing LTE, backhaul, IMS expenditure and customer churn; optimization of 4G LTE and IMS infrastructure to support increased multimedia traffic levels, markets and geographies; and the launch of a new service or application like IPTV or VoIP, or deployment of new cloud-based services.

SevOne is demonstrating its service-assurance solution for 4G LTE and IMS, and Ethernet backhaul services this week at Management World Americas in Orlando, Fla.
