BT, the global telecommunications company, last week announced reaching a contract extension with pharmaceutical giant Bristol-Myers Squibb to manage its global network services through 2017.

The contract extension covers all of Bristol-Myers Squibb locations and calls for BT to provide outsourced network services, remote access, voice and telephony infrastructure. BT also will provide network security services and compliance management to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

BT, which first signed the contract with Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2005, did not reveal the financial terms of the contract extension.
