Comptel Corp., a supplier of dynamic operations support system software, on Monday announced that Kazakhstan-based Kcell has deployed its Comptel Provisioning and Activation product.
The solution was deployed and placed into production in less than three months, Comptel said.
Kcell, which offers mobile-based voice and broadband services to more than 7 million people in Kazakhstan, replaced its legacy system to improve its performance and save costs, according to Helsinki, Finland-based Comptel.
"We are very pleased to partner with Kcell for its service activation," said Timo Koistinen, senior vice president, Europe East, Comptel. "The Kcell deployment is one of a number of new deployments of Comptel Fulfillment, demonstrating the strong trust that leading CSPs have in our solution.
