Subex Unveils New Version of Fraud Management Solution

Subex Ltd., a global provider of business support systems for communications service providers, has introduced a new version of its Revenue Operations Centre (ROC) Fraud Management solution.

The company said version 7.4 of the solution features inline controls in order to prevent subscription fraud, transaction fraud and equipment loss at the point of sale. The solution helps landline and wireless operators uncover new fraud patterns and achieve several other objections in connection with fraud. Subex said the inline transaction controls enable operators to validate a transaction request in real time and prevent the processing of a fraudulent transaction.

"The newest version of our fraud management solution includes the ability for operators to carry out real-time checks at the transaction request stage and subscriber acquisition stage and thus prevents fraudulent transactions and handset loss," Subex Chief Operating Officer Sudeesh Yezhuvath said in a statement.

The most recent version 7.4 is ready for the market, the company said.
