Coral Springs, Fla.-based networkWCS, a brand of Wholesale Carrier Services, has renewed its contract for IDI Billing Solutions' CostGuard billing and operations solution as well as its OnlineBill electronic bill presentment and payment interface.
WCS has been an IDI customer since 2004. It's a privately owned company that provides telecommunications services to mid- to large-size enterprise clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to private label carriers through a distribution channel of value-added resellers. The company buys services from more than 125 different network providers at wholesale spot market rates under high-volume purchase agreements, then “packages" the customer’s desired combination of carrier backbones, network architecture and contract terms.
Using IDI’s CostGuard B/OSS, WCS manages these complex product schemas and creates a single, consolidated communications service invoice for its enterprise customers. WCS also leverages CostGuard’s automation capabilities to eliminate manual operations and create a faster order-to-billing process that improves cash flow, the company said. IDI’s OnlineBill Web portal offers WCS’ clients a paperless invoicing option and comprehensive customer care capabilities designed to create a more user friendly billing experience.

IDI Billing Solutions changed its name from Info Directions late last year.
