Wide Open West (WOW!) has tapped Equinox Information Systems' Telelink for additional operational measurement (OM) and Web-facing reporting capabilities.

TeleLink is a mediation and revenue assurance software system that integrates with most communication networks. WOW!, which provides high-speed Internet, cable TV and telephone service to customers in the Midwest, selected and installed TeleLink in 2011. Based on the success of that deployment, WOW! chose to expand its use of Telelink.

“TeleLink allowed us to upgrade and consolidate our mediation and reporting solutions in one system," said Ryan Mitchell, senior manager – telephony network, A&P, for Wide Open West. “TeleLink’s report capabilities allow us to spot potential problems on the network more quickly. Additionally, the level of support we encountered at Equinox was a key factor in our decision to install TeleLink."

TeleLink is a single system that controls the flow, format, and final destination of usage records. Equinox says TeleLink also provides powerful reporting capabilities by enriching and converting usage records. After the initial TeleLink installation, WOW! increased the volume of records it processed in TeleLink, invested in the OM Reporting module, and expanded access to reports via TeleLink’s Web portal.

“Our relationship with WOW! demonstrates our customer commitment and partnership approach," said David Ledbetter, national sales director for Equinox. “Several aspects of TeleLink were customized to maximize the value of the software for WOW!"
