Monitoring-solutions provider Astellia has opened a new technology center in Reston, Va. Headquartered in France, this is the company's second U.S. office, New York City being the other.
Astellia chose Reston because it is considered to be one of the most important telecom hubs in the U.S. From this strategic place, Astellia says it will deliver its solutions across mobile operators. The company already serves a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers across the North America region and the opening of the Reston office comes just a few months after Astellia secured a deal with a Tier 1 Canadian operator.
Astellia plans to increase its level of support to existing customers, responding to their growing demand for local expertise. The company will also reinforce its value proposition through consulting services in 2G, 3G and LTE network optimization. The proximity to market requirements will enhance Astellia’s ability to adapt to the specific nature of each region and to expand its partnerships.
“We wanted to strengthen our presence in North America for some time, as the market potential for our solution is significant. The office will be staffed by specialists in the field who will provide comprehensive expertise and increased levels of local sales & technical support to our customers across the country," said Frédéric Gonzales, managing director, Americas, at Astellia.
