VIRGO’s B/OSS LinkedIn Group Membership Growth Aligns with Brand Growth and Awareness

VIRGO, an information distribution company focused on the most innovative and complex business-to-business markets that fuel the U.S. and world economies, announced today that the B/OSS group on LinkedIn, a social networking group formed in January 2009, approved its 6,000th member, adding more than 500 members in the last two months. Over the course of the past 12 months, the group has increased membership by more than 72 percent.

“The rapid rate of growth demonstrates a vital position for B/OSS in the marketplace, and we are seeing growth trends directly on our site as well," said Danica Cullins, publisher. “BSS/OSS professionals are increasingly turning to B/OSS for information and, more importantly, research around critical business decisions."

A community extension of the B/OSS brand, the B/OSS LinkedIn group has members from more than 30 countries participating in discussions and networking with peers around the world. The group’s charter is to provide an ongoing forum for sharing real-world experiences and general networking. It also is a forum for news and information in the increasingly vital world of BSS and OSS.
