Astellia and VOIPFUTURE have announced a partnership to complete Astellia's network monitoring solution for 2G, 3G and LTE networks with VOIPFUTURE’s offering.
This answers the growing demand in the global market for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem and LTE monitoring solutions, the companies said.
Astellia's probe-based monitoring solution is designed to provide mobile network operators with a deeper understanding of E2E network efficiency — from radio access to core, subscriber behavior and experience, handset performance, to voice and data services.
Through relevant key performance indicators, mobile network operators get precious information which helps them troubleshoot issues, identify high churn risk subscribers and improve user experience, the companies said.
VOIPFUTURE’s technology is designed to control and improve voice quality in IP networks, such as modern IMS and LTE mobile networks. The solution uses a combination of packet-flow analysis and deep-packet inspection to monitor and analyze VoIP services. Its unique KPIs support mobile operators and carriers in their move to IP by providing essential information to management, customer care and operations.
“In joining forces, VOIPFUTURE and Astellia anticipate the strong demand of mobile operators for VoIP quality monitoring." said Jan Bastian, CEO of VOIPFUTURE. “VOIPFUTURE and Astellia will give mobile operators the crucial data they need to control their network, secure service quality and optimize operations."
