U.K.-based Capita, an outsourcing and professional services company, has acquired Full Circle as part of its plan to increase its global delivery network.
Capita, which employs more than 46,000 people at more than 350 businesses across EMEA and India, says the purchase of Full Circle will add to its existing capability of offering outsourced customer service and fully-hosted contact center solutions. Established in 2005, Full Circle has been directly involved in assisting international clients to offshore successfully to South Africa, and has been associated with some of the most notable offshore projects in the region.
“Capita is one of the largest companies of its kind, providing ‘front-office’ contact center and back-office processing solutions for multiple clients from the private and public sectors," said Vic Gysin, joint COO, Capita Group Plc. "The acquisition of Full Circle ... will enable us to provide a full range of offshored services in the region to our clients."
The purchase is a win-win as far as analyst firm Ovum is concerned.
"This move clearly provides the U.K. outsourcing giant with a deeper penetration into global brand names such as Amazon, as well as the hosted delivery platform that Full Circle has been pioneering," said Peter Ryan, lead analyst, IT Services, Ovum. " However, on a broader scale this initiative is also very prudent from Capita’s perspective in regard to furthering its offshore delivery presence."
