Don't tell Global Convergence Solutions (GCS) that the world economy is still struggling.
The New Jersey-based provider of intercarrier operational and business support systems has announced milestone sales for 2012. The company set a record for the first half of the year, with total contracted sales nearly equaling the total of all sales in 2011.
Software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales led the upswing, increasing exponentially, with a growth rate of more than 250 percent compared to the first half of last year. GCS’ management team forecasts a minimum year-over-year growth of 40 percent, exceeding the year-over-year growth experienced by the company from 2010 to 2011.
“We look forward to the future with new products, partnerships and R&D investments on the horizon," said Neal Axelrad, CEO of Global Convergence Solutions. "Through these sales accomplishments, we are able to reach a wider range of companies that can benefit from our services and effectively deliver those solutions."
In addition to accelerated growth in terms of revenue and customers, GCS says it achieved notable product development milestones this year, including getting a patent for its dynamic call routing, announced just last week.
