SAP has released its new rapid deployment solution that the company says simplifies and accelerates order-to-cash business processes.
The new solution, SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, enables telecommunication companies and service providers to automate key processes and manage relationships with customers and partners more effectively, according to the company.
This rapid-deployment solution combines software, pre-configured content and predefined services designed for communications service providers. It covers six end-to-end business processes: customer and contract creation, usage charging, billing and invoicing, and account termination for pre- and postpaid services.
SAP Vice President Jens Amail said the solution will help ensure implementation success while reducing the initial time to value for customers by up to 40 percent.
In addition, with this solution, communications service providers are able to quickly create and launch new offers, get a 360-degree view of the customer, automate control the order capture and billing chain, calculate and report revenue share items with partners.
