Tunisiana implemented InfoVista's network performance management solution to effectively meet expectations of networks and IT services.
InfoVista's solution, VistaInsight for Networks, is used to monitor the availability, traffic load and saturation of its 10GB IP backhaul network and ensure high-quality 3G and fixed line services for customers, according to the company.
The service performance visibility of the solution provides control over the planning, deployment and operational phases of Tunisiana’s next generation transport networks.
VistaInsight for Networks forecasts network capacity requirements based on historical traffic trends, allowing Tunisiana to plan its networks without over- or under-provisioning capacity, InfoVista said. The solution also delivers an early warning engine so Tunisiana can detect, validate and troubleshoot potential disrupting patterns before quality of services is affected.
Tunisiana was able to adopt a centralized, end-to-end performance assurance practice that helps to prioritize capital expenditures and reduce operational expenses.
