Amdocs, Sprint Extend Deal for Billing, Customer Care, More


Amdocs will continue to manage key business processes for Sprint now that the two have signed a seven-year extension to their relationship.

Under the deal, which now runs through January 2021, Amdocs will manage the Overland Park, Kan.-based carrier's billing, customer care and IT infrastructure management under a managed services model hosted at an Amdocs data center. The new agreement includes the continued support of the Sprint and Boost Mobile brands and the expansion to now support the Virgin Mobile USA and Assurance Wireless brands.

Amdocs says its billing and customer care platforms are partially responsible for Sprint becoming the No. 1 U.S. company in customer satisfaction and most improved, across 47 industries, during the last four years, according to the 2012 American Customer Satisfaction Index.
