Thoma Bravo is acquiring security-solutions provider Crossbeam Systems to build and expand its customer solutions.
Crossbeam will keep its current senior management team, the company said, which will continue to manage the business while developing new strategies to enhance the company.
Mike Ruffolo, president and CEO of Crossbeam, said Thoma Bravo's support will allow the company to "pursue new products and services through strategic initiatives and potential acquisitions." He added that this will help enhance the company's offerings.
Known for its X-Series network security platform, Crossbeam provides security solutions to mobile operators like Telefonica, BT, NTT Globe Telecom and Cell C, as well as to enterprise customers such as Fiserv, Volkswagen Group and Motel 6.
