Cycle30 has unveiled a new suite of commercial business billing software solutions specifically designed to address the needs of cable operators to successfully manage and execute both business and advanced services.
Seattle-based Cycle30 says the solutions will allow operators to quickly take advantage of new revenue sources from commercial accounts that had until now been too complex to handle.
The company says the new solutions use some of the most intuitive and flexible front-end Web interfaces in the billing business today and combines them with applications specifically designed for commercial services to enable operators a quick-to-market solution. In addition, Cycle30 says its cable operator heritage – the company was spun out of and is owned by cable operator GCI – brings a level of industry understanding and emphasis on good customer service.
“Cable operators are all heavily incented to take advantage of the commercial-services revenue potential within their service areas but many are being hamstrung by back-office limitations," said Jim Dunlap, president of Cycle30. “We have spent the past 10 years in refining our business commercial billing solutions by developing applications specifically designed for commercial services billing — including orders, provisioning, workflow, billing, product catalog, customer hierarchies, taxation and the like. Cycle30 has taken the complex and made it very simple for the operator to understand and execute."
Cycle30 says operators that choose its solutions can more easily enforce business rules, cross-sell and bundle services, and anticipate customer needs across all product offerings. The company also claims to simplify work for customer-service representatives, who can sell, order, provision, monitor and manage all communications services in one system, with a complete view of any customer’s existing products and services.
