Equinox Information Systems has formed a partnership with Rimhub, a provider of outsourced telecom BPO (business process outsourcing) services, including fraud management and OSS/BSS services.
Nashville-based Equinox offers a full range of business assurance solutions for the telecommunications industry, including the Protector fraud management system. Through the partnership, Equinox says Rimhub continues to add value for its clients by offering innovative services, such as Equinox’s fraud management system.
As part of its PBX solutions offering, Rimhub provides a fraud-management service designed to protect providers from telecom fraud. Rimhub’s fraud management specialists use premium surveillance tools and have more than five years of experience utilizing Equinox’s Protector platform and preventing millions of dollars’ worth of fraud for its clients.

Rather than hardcoding or targeting a specific fraud type or method, Equinox says Protector employs dynamic usage profiling and other proprietary monitoring metrics to identify suspicious activity regardless of the manner in which unauthorized access was gained.
