Big-data analytics solutions provider Guavas has formed a new partnership with Teradata.
The companies say the combination of Teradata's data warehouse platform and Guavus' streaming analytics capability creates compelling opportunities for communications service providers (CSPs) to leverage vast amounts of mobile data for network engineering, marketing and customer care.
Guavus and Teradata say they have created a solution specifically designed for mobile data that allows CSPs to readjust business strategies quickly to gain better visibility into how data services are used and consumed.
"The ability to support large quantities of data coming in at extreme speeds is essential to our business given the exponential growth in mobile data," said Francois de Repentigny, vice president, marketing, Guavus. "With this partnership, CSPs that use Teradata have access to a wide array of field-proven decisioning applications that provide unprecedented visibility into mobile subscriber usage."
The team-up is expected to help CSPs gain decisive insights into customer behavior and product preferences. Through visibility to all data interaction including streaming data from the network, devices, location, social networks and digital marketing and ecommerce interactions, CSPs can better create new services and monetize existing infrastructure, the companies said.
