Through this new partnership, Funambol will provide its solution that enables service providers to deploy a self-branded digital lifestyle personal cloud and Mahindra Comviva will leverage its wide product portfolio and extensive geographic presence to create and deliver personal cloud solutions. This will leverage Funambol technology that meets customers needs in its markets, the companies said.

A recent Gartner report recommended that service providers go to market quickly because the cost of getting users to switch to personal clouds is very high.
