NetScout, HP Integrate Applications

NetScout Systems Inc. said Monday it is working with HP to develop an integration with its technologies and HP Network Node Manager i-series (NNMi).

The combined products will bring application-aware performance alarming, analysis and troubleshooting into the front line of IT support for both enterprise and service provider networks, the companies said. The solutions will also enable early warning of application performance degradations and an integrated work flow for problem detection and root cause analysis.

The platforms can help service providers who are looking for ways to respond to degradations in performance of services such as mobile IP, IPTV, or VoIP, the companies said.
