Russia’s Euroset has turned to FTS and its Leap Billing solution for MVNO, broadband and fixed line telephony services.
To engender real-time billing for voice/SMS/data services, and a variety of value added services, the product leverages a business rule and rating engine called FTS Leap Business Control and Charging Foundation. BCCF has been built to enable real-time rating, billing, customer care and business management, which Euroset hopes will help expedite service introductions and enhance personalization in multi-service bundles.
Euroset is Russia’s largest mobile phone retailer and one of the country’s leading dealers for major mobile network operators with more than 4,400 retail outlets in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzia.
Also implementing the Leap Billing solution is Vodafone Iceland, which is pursuing SOA by revamping its BSS environment. The company intends to transform its billing capabilities using Leap Billing and Leap Business Control Engine solutions. According to Vodafone Iceland, the billing system will become its platform for current and future charging, billing and real-time customer interactions across mobile, fixed, Internet and data services.
