Sitronics Delivers FORIS NG Billing Solutions to Wateen Telecom, Vodafone Czech Republic

Wateen Telecom, the largest private sector communications provider in Pakistan, said it wants to develop a high-availability IP-based communication network that supports IP-based quad-play services to business and residential customers. With that goal in mind, the company has integrated Sitronics Telecom Solutions flagship product, FORIS NG Billing and Customer Care.

The platform is designed to create greater flexibility in deploying complex and bundled tariff schemes for fixed and mobile communication services. The Sitronics solution will also be deployed by Vodafone Czech Republic, which sought a framework to support its enterprise OneNet promise of “one offer, one IP net, and one contract."

The perceived advantage of the FORIS system will be support of convergent billing, and one bill for various types of services in the framework of pre-paid cards and tariffs.
