Africa’s Comium Group Uses Eskadenia Billing to Connect Disparate Operations

11/12/2007

Comium Liberia and Comium Sierra Leone have established a data tunnel to connect a data center in Liberia and client applications in Sierra Leone. Using VSAT bandwidth and a three-tier architecture that leverages existing hardware installations for use in other locations, Eskadenia’s Billing and CRM system (BCRM) has helped the operator deploy a PoS application in Sierra Leone, while continuing to host database and Web Services at its data center in Liberia.

Through a Web-enabled mediation gateway developed in accordance with both GSM and CCITT recommendations for billing and number plan standards, the product is designed to offer mission-critical, real-time billing. Designed to be a turnkey platform, BCRM comprises CRM, marketing, service provisioning, product and pricing management, rate plan management, rating, billing, TAP 3 Roaming, interconnect and revenue sharing modules.
