Cablemás Renews Billing Contract with Convergys

Convergys Corp. announced that Cablemás S.A. de C.V., the second-largest cable television operator in Mexico, has renewed its billing agreement with Convergys for five years.

The renewed agreement continues the licensing, maintenance and support of Convergys' ICOMS convergent voice, video, and data billing and customer care solution for Cablemás.

"Cablemás has been operating the Convergys ICOMS solution for over 12 years and it now supports more than 750,000 cable TV, broadband and IP telephony subscribers," said Jim Boyce, president of Convergys’ Communications, Media and Entertainment business unit. "ICOMS functionality provides Cablemás with the capability to facilitate the creation, sale and support of its triple-play bundles with a single bill and a single view of the customer."
