Sprint to Use Synchronoss Order Management Services

Sprint Nextel will use Synchronoss Technologies Inc.'s order management services for its consumer wireless business.

The services will center on Sprint's e-commerce and tele-sales channels and the company will capitalize on opportunities in the retail stores, where most of its wireless sales take place. Syncrhonoss' systems are expected to support the high-volume activation and care transactions, including retail.

While not yet confirmed, it is expected that Sprint's WiMAX launch will also utilize Synchronoss.
